Men Lie, Women Lie

So a lot of men I talk to tell me that its in 'mans nature' to want multiple women. One guy even told me that it's not that they don't want to be with YOU it's just that they wanted that girl at that time. He said that many times when he's cheated he didn't care about the girl he cheated with so it wasn't that big of a deal. WELL....if you ask me it sounds like he didn't care much about the woman he cheated ON or he wouldn't have done it.
Could it be that there is a special person for each and every one of us and it's just a matter of time until we find that person. And until then, we shall forever be curious? Or, is it human nature to be greedy and just want more. Women always complain that there are no good men. How can that be possible?
Of course there are good men and maybe they are looking in the wrong places. Maybe men think there are no good women but just don't complain as much as women do...? Either way relationships are always up and down and divorce is at a peak in America...I think we all need to learn how to be alone first before we can be with someone else.

  1. I'm very weary of the excuses men give for cheating. Basically I think we as men are inherently selfish and need-driven versus being nurturing of a relationship. It is a mature (or perhaps evolved?) man who knows himself enough to not commit to an exclusive relationship OR commits and stays true. You are so right that it is in our singleness that we create the person worth having in a relationship. In my opinion, most cheating is a result of either partner lacking self-awareness and seeking to fill an internal need with an external act. Thanks for an insightful post K!
